Why we
refresh our computer?
In previous post I taught you about some of the windows
shortcuts.Today,I want to ask you a very simple question,Why do we refresh our desktop??
Yes,we all
usually refresh our computer many more times but I bet 95% of you and my
classmates don’t know that Why we
Refresh our computer.
A desktop
is nothing but a folder in windows.The
process of refreshing is similar to as a human being refreshes himself after
sometime while doing a large amount of work (just like I refreshed myself 4-6
times and took a sip of water or coffee while thinking,searching and writing
this article J ). Same
thing happens with computer that is running several processes.
TECHNICALLY
Actually,our
computer refreshes itself automatically during working after some time
intervals at a rate of 60 hz which is same
as the manual refreshing rate.
QUESTION 1 ARISES- If computer refreshes
screen automatically,then why do we need to manually refresh it?
Answer- sometimes due to low performance reasons, we
are provided with refresh option in CONTEXT MENU. Lets take an example that you
are copying data from USB to harddrive.
Sometimes After the process has completed,you
are not able to see data in harddisk.So here we will mannualy refresh our
computer and the data will be shown(see below screenshot).Same thing may happen when you delete data
from drive.
And
sometimes while copying,the pop up windows get stuck suppose at 500 mb out of
700 mb but process is still going on,to copy 700 mb but not shown to you. Here REFRESH option wil surely help you to
show you the current status of the file being coppied
What
actually happens here is that it refreshes the RAM and show the CURRENT STATUS
of our computer. I repeat, Refreshing bring the
computer into its current Status by deleting away all the previously completed process cycles from RAM.It
doesnot increase the speed.
Question2 If
refreshing rate of computer and manual refresh(F5) is same(60hz), then why
the desktop icons get
disappeared while manually refreshing and not disappeared while automatic
refreshing??
Answer-Please Don’t
get confused with it. Computer refreshes itself after an interval and not every second.So the icons don’t disappear.
But when we manually refresh it by F5, we are forcing it
to refresh several times
in just a second. So
the desktop icons disappears.
Why you people
refresh computer?or do we actually need it.
The answer is very simple.We refresh our computer because
we are told to do so by our elders.
We are addicted to refresh it without any reasons. Don’t
think refreshing computer 10-13 times will increase the speed bcoz it will not.
So just try to get RID of this habbit.
I repeat,Refreshing will not increase the speed.
I was also doing that until it was not known to me. But
now am not. So I wished to share it with you people.
And I think you should also share this article with other
